Project Summary

House of Guinness is heading back into production for its second season, with Netflix greenlighting another chapter of Steven Knight's 19th-century drama about the famed Irish brewing family. The Peaky Blinders creator returns as writer and showrunner, continuing the story of the Guinness siblings as they wrestle with ambition, intrigue, and forbidden love while expanding their stout empire. Production is set to begin in January 2027 in the North West of England, with Liverpool and Manchester once again doubling for Dublin and New York respectively. Kudos returns as the production company. The first season, which premiered in September 2025, left off on a major cliffhanger involving an assassination attempt. Knight has indicated plans to extend the series across multiple seasons, eventually reaching the 1960s. The returning cast includes Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, Emily Fairn, Fionn O'Shea, James Norton, Jack Gleeson, and Danielle Galligan.
