Project Summary
Dragon's Dojo marks the first chapter of the ASERYA Asian Mythology Franchise, developed through a memorandum of understanding between Singapore's Silver Media Group, Indonesian boxing legend Chris John, TV executive Harun Kurniawan, and Koollab Studios. The mobile-first vertical animated series centers on Chris John's animated alter ego as head instructor at a martial arts academy working with young people facing hardship. When creatures from Indonesian mythology emerge to threaten the students' community, Chris and his pupils discover their fight extends beyond monsters to their own inner struggles. The project launches the ASERYA Universe, an interconnected franchise spanning animation, comics, games and merchandise, designed to introduce Asian mythology stories to global audiences.
