Project Summary
Beta Builder marks the first feature from the collaboration between Abundantia Entertainment's AI-focused division Abundantia AiOn and video technology company InVideo. The hybrid production pairs live-action filming with AI-driven production techniques, with principal photography beginning October 29, 2026 in Mumbai. Director Hridaye A. Nagpal, InVideo's Global Creative Lead, helms the project starring Mayur More and Ashlesha Thakur. The story follows Jai, a self-taught architect from Dharavi who enters the virtual reality world to pursue his ambitions while fighting for his community and the person he loves. The film is the first of five AI-powered features planned under the partnership's three-year, ₹100 crore commitment. Mumbai serves as both the production base and a key story location, grounding the film's exploration of ambition and belonging in one of India's most iconic urban landscapes.
