Project Summary
The India House is a Telugu-language historical drama currently in production, with principal photography recently underway in Tallinn, Estonia. Directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna and starring Nikhil Siddhartha and Anupam Kher, the film is produced by Ram Charan and Abhishek Agarwal under V Mega Pictures and Abhishek Agarwal Arts. The production brought together 47 Indian crew members with a 70-person local Estonian team from Nafta Films, transforming Tallinn's Old Town into early 20th-century London. Estonia's 40% cash rebate incentive helped secure the project over competing locations including the UK, Lithuania, and Bulgaria. The film depicts the revolutionary anti-colonial movement that centered around India House between 1905 and 1910, blending a love story with the political upheaval of India's independence struggle. Cameron Bryson handles cinematography, with music by Shashwat Sachdev. The pan-India project is targeting a late 2026 or 2027 theatrical release across multiple Indian languages.
