Untitled Scott Bakula Detective Drama

Scott Bakula is attached to star in and executive produce an untitled detective procedural currently in early development at CBS. The Los Angeles-set series reunites Bakula with Michael Sussman, who serves as writer and executive producer—the two previously worked together on Star Trek: Enterprise. The project comes from Dean Devlin's Electric Entertainment, the production company behind Leverage and The Librarians franchises. While plot details remain under wraps, the role is being described as quite a departure from Bakula's seven-season run as Special Agent Dwayne Pride on NCIS: New Orleans. The project is still seeking a series order from the network.
