Your Turn, 203 marks the feature directorial debut of Lebanese filmmaker Cynthia Sawma, who previously worked as casting director on Nadine Labaki's Capernaum. The social comedy stars Hiam Abbas as Aida, a fifty-five-year-old housewife whose life shifts when her husband Maurice loses his job during Lebanon's catastrophic 2023 economic crisis. When Aida accompanies her neighbor Saydeh, played by Hend Sabry, to work as a film extra, she discovers a community of women seeking independence. Abbout Productions and France's Wheelhouse Productions are lead-producing, with Mohamed Hefzy's Film Clinic, Gianluca Chakra's Front Row, and Lebanese producer Antoine Khelife also attached. The production is scheduled to shoot in Beirut, contingent on the current ceasefire holding. Georges Schoucair and Sawma were meeting with production partners at Cannes in May 2026, with The Party Film Sales handling international distribution.
