Film Clinic

Film Clinic is Egypt's leading independent film production and distribution company, founded in 2005 by screenwriter and producer Mohamed Hefzy with the mission to support emerging Arab cinematic talent. With a track record of over 40 films ranging from commercial blockbusters to award-winning art-house titles, the company has produced projects that have screened at Cannes, Toronto, Venice, and Sundance. In 2017, Hefzy launched Film Clinic Indie Distribution as the company's dedicated distribution arm, and in 2021 the group restructured under Film Clinic Holding following a 49% investment from Ergo Media Ventures. In 2024, Film Clinic announced the expansion of its operations into Saudi Arabia with a Riyadh outpost.
