Front Row Filmed Entertainment (FRFE) is the MENA region's leading independent film distribution company, founded in Dubai in 2003 by Gianluca Chakra. The company acquires over 120 Arab and international titles per year across all rights — theatrical, VOD, TV, and digital — maintaining a library of over 1,800 titles, and releases approximately 50 films theatrically each year through a distribution network spanning the entire MENA region. In addition to distribution, FRFE operates Front Row Productions (a joint venture with Beirut-based Empire Entertainment) which produces Arabic-language films and series, including Netflix's first Arabic original feature, the 2022 remake of Perfect Strangers. The company also serves as a preferred aggregator for iTunes and Google Play in the MENA region and maintains a long-standing output deal with beIN MediaGroup.
