Project Summary
The Walsh Sisters returns for a second season, currently in production for RTÉ in association with the BBC. The six-part comedy-drama reunites the five Walsh sisters in Dublin as they confront new challenges in addiction recovery, motherhood, and family relationships. Stefanie Preissner continues as creative lead and writer, adapting Keyes' novels The Mystery of Mercy Close and Angels, with Ian FitzGibbon directing. Cuba Pictures and Metropolitan Pictures are producing, with Cineflix Rights handling international distribution. The series, which was RTÉ's highest-rated drama of the past two years, films on location across Dublin. Patrick O'Donoghue returns as producer, with executive producers including Dixie Linder and Nick Marston for Cuba Pictures, David McLoughlin for Metropolitan Pictures, and David Crean and Dermot Horan for RTÉ.
