The Luckiest Woman Alive is an original full-length stage comedy set in the future, blending science fiction with political and social satire. Set in the year 2040, the production follows Mallory Hope, an optimistic American refugee seeking asylum in Canada after the collapse of the United States. When a secret experiment to resurrect a ruthless billionaire goes horribly wrong, Mallory is thrust into an outrageous battle of identities. This original comedy blends science fiction, political satire, and heartfelt humor in an unforgettable story about hope, humanity, and the true meaning of luck. The production is presented by RimoVision Group, a nonprofit theatre company dedicated to developing and producing original works by its Resident Artists. Rehearsals begin August 10, 2026 in Lakewood, moving to Hermosa Beach on September 14, 2026. The show opens September 25, 2026 at Second Story Theatre, Hermosa Beach Community Center.
