Second Story Theatre

SecondStory Theatre Company is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community theater organization based in Portland, Maine, founded in June 2024. Its mission is to promote social awareness through theater and musical performance, striving to be a catalyst for accessibility, boldness, connection, diversity, and integral action. The company grew out of a sold-out staged reading of The Laramie Project in June 2023 and produces socially conscious theatrical works — including musicals and plays — for the Greater Portland, Maine community.
