Profoundly affecting and surprisingly funny, this 2024 Pulitzer Prize-winning play follows Kenneth, who lives a carefully ordered life in a small town near Rochester, NY. For 15 years, everything's been great: a bookstore job he loves, his best friend Bert, daily mat tais and a comforting routine. When he suddenly finds himself unemployed, Kenneth is forced to step beyond the safety of habit and consider the alternative: connection and change. Ever hopeful, Primary Trust reflects on how we protect ourselves, and what it means to be truly seen. The production will be staged at Weston Theater Company in Weston, VT, with rehearsals beginning August 4, 2026, previews on August 26, and opening August 28 through September 6, 2026.
