Project Summary

Job Trafficking is an eight-episode Hindi-language drama series now in production for Prime Video. Created and directed by Prashant Nair, the series explores the lesser-seen side of "pig butchering" scams: young people lured by fake job offers, trafficked across borders, and forced to become scammers themselves. The production is led by Select Media Holdings and Chalkboard Entertainment, with producers Pratik Khanuja, Sameer Chand, Vikesh Bhutani, and Shujaat Saudagar. The ensemble cast includes Nimrat Kaur, Roshan Mathew, Kavya Trehan, and Pavan Malhotra. Set across India and Southeast Asia, the series follows three strangers whose paths intersect in a dangerous world of fractured trust and exploitation. Production began in Mumbai in early August 2026, marking Prime Video India's continued investment in socially relevant storytelling.
