Project Summary
Based on a true story from 1965 to the early 1970s in Waterloo, Iowa. GABLE is the gripping true story of legendary Olympic gold medalist and wrestling icon, Dan Gable. In the shadow of a family tragedy, a small-town Iowa wrestler transforms his pain into purpose — rising to Olympic glory and becoming one of the greatest combat sports athletes the world has ever seen. A powerful true story of sacrifice, resilience, and legacy. Filming starts late April for 6 weeks in 2026, with location to be determined between St. Louis or Atlanta.
