Project Summary
Feral is a darkly comedic thriller series in development at Netflix, based on Shirley Conran's 1987 novel Savages. Emmy winner Jessica Gunning plays Annie, one of four female leads who must band together for survival after their husbands—mining executives—are kidnapped during a tropical island retreat. The series is created by Jude Mack, with Emma Freeman directing and Liza Marshall and Laurie Borg producing. Netflix has given a series order to the limited series, though production dates and episode count have not yet been announced. The adaptation reunites Gunning with Netflix following her acclaimed turn in Baby Reindeer.
