ESPN Jeopardy!
Project Summary
ESPN Jeopardy! is a new sports edition of the long-running game show franchise, ordered by Disney+ and Hulu for streaming release. The series will be hosted by Monday Night Football broadcaster Joe Buck, who previously guest-hosted the syndicated Jeopardy! in 2021. Sony Pictures Television produces the project, with Michael Davies serving as executive producer—the same role he holds on the flagship Jeopardy! series. The tournament-style competition will feature ESPN on-air talent as contestants playing for charities of their choice, with all gameplay taking place on the Alex Trebek Stage at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California. Questions will focus on the full spectrum of ESPN content. The grand prize is $500,000, with the winner crowned ESPN Jeopardy! champion. A premiere date has not yet been announced, though sources suggest a potential summer 2026 rollout. This marks the second sports-focused Jeopardy! spinoff, following Sports Jeopardy! which ran on Crackle from 2014 to 2016 with Dan Patrick as host.
