Disney ABC Television Group

Disney ABC Television Group (now operating as Disney Entertainment Television) was The Walt Disney Company's primary television division, formed in 2004, overseeing its global entertainment and news television properties, owned-and-operated broadcast stations, and cable brands. Originally encompassing the ABC network, Disney Channel Worldwide, ABC Family, Touchstone Television, SOAPnet, and Buena Vista Television, the group was rebranded Walt Disney Television following Disney's 2019 acquisition of 21st Century Fox and subsequently renamed Disney General Entertainment Content, and most recently Disney Entertainment Television as of 2023–2026. As of March 2026, the division is led by Debra OConnell as Chairman of Disney Entertainment Television, reporting to incoming Disney President and CCO Dana Walden.
