El Dorado

El Dorado has wrapped principal photography in southern France's Luberon region. Director Lola Quivoron's second feature stars Matthias Schoenaerts, Mallory Wanecque, Antonia Buresi, and Samuel Kircher in a fast-paced psychological thriller blending family drama with environmental crime. The film centers on Yolaine, a young woman who became hearing-impaired following a childhood accident and is gradually drawn into her father's illicit world. Produced by Charles Gillibert for CG Cinema and co-produced by Wrong Men, with backing from France 2 Cinéma and Canal+, the project marks Quivoron's follow-up to Rodeo, which won the Coup de Coeur award at Cannes Un Certain Regard in 2022. Paris-based Films du Losange has boarded international sales, while Ad Vitam will handle French distribution.
