France 2 Cinéma

France 2 Cinéma is a wholly-owned film co-production subsidiary of France Télévisions (the French public broadcasting group), incorporated on 22 December 1980 and based in Paris. As the cinematic arm of the France 2 channel, it invests in a broad range of French and European feature films — from auteur works to mainstream comedies — selecting approximately 30 projects annually from more than 350 submitted screenplays. Since its creation it has co-produced over 1,200 films for a total investment of €489 million, and its slate has generated five Palme d'Or winners at Cannes, including Anatomie d'une chute (2023) and Emilia Pérez (2024).
