“Condemned” is a haunting short film that follows Mason, an inmate who carries out a killing on another prisoner’s orders, only to be tormented by the spirit of the man he murdered. As nightmares bleed into reality, Mason is forced to face his guilt and the consequences of his actions. Brought to life entirely through generative AI, the film explores how emotion can be imprinted on synthetic characters. It’s an exploration on how classic horror tropes can be brought to life to build a timeless cinematic narrative through next-gen AI tools. Produced by Misideal and directed by Marcello Costa.
