Broken Sword
Project Summary
Broken Sword is moving from video game to feature film, with Revolution Software co-producing alongside Story Kitchen. The project brings screenwriter Evan Spiliotopoulos on board to adapt the franchise that debuted in 1996 with The Shadow of the Templars. Charles Cecil, who created the game series, will produce with his partner Noirin Carmody alongside Story Kitchen co-founders Dmitri M. Johnson and Michael Lawrence Goldberg. The game series follows American George Stobbart and French journalist Nicole Collard through mysteries rooted in Templar conspiracies across European settings. Story Kitchen, known for producing the Sonic the Hedgehog films and Amazon's Life Is Strange series, is developing the screenplay with Spiliotopoulos. The project is in early development with no director yet attached.
