Evan Spiliotopoulos is a Greek-American screenwriter, film director, and producer based in Los Angeles, active in Hollywood since the mid-1990s. He spent eight years as a staff writer at Disney animation before transitioning to major live-action blockbusters, earning credits on Beauty and the Beast (2017), Hercules (2014), The Huntsman: Winter's War (2016), Snake Eyes (2021), and The Pope's Exorcist (2023). He made his directorial debut with the supernatural horror film The Unholy (2021), which he also wrote and produced for Sam Raimi's Ghost House Pictures/Sony. He is currently writing the screenplay adaptation of his debut novel 'The Museum of Cursed Artifacts,' optioned by The Mediapro Studio in a two-book deal with Simon & Schuster's Emily Bestler Books imprint.
