Black Palace

Black Palace is a period thriller currently in post-production under director Nick Hamm. Set in Victorian London during autumn 1888, the film unfolds against the backdrop of the Jack the Ripper murders as tabloid media terrifies the public. The story follows a young woman sent to work at Buckingham Palace with a mission to spy on Queen Victoria's grandson, who has been mysteriously disappearing at night. As she grows closer to the prince, she navigates between the privilege of the royal court and the poverty of Victorian London, ultimately uncovering dangerous secrets. The film stars Freya Allan and Kodi Smit-McPhee, with Jon Croker penning the screenplay. Production wrapped in the UK after shooting through summer 2026. The project is produced by SIMIA Productions, Tempo Productions, and Hamm4, with New Regency handling worldwide sales as the film prepares for festival season this fall.
