American Idol Season 25

American Idol is heading into pre-production for Season 25, marking the series' tenth season on ABC and 25th overall since its original 2002 premiere. C. Production is handled by Fremantle and 19 Entertainment, a part of Sony Pictures Television. The series will air on ABC in 2027 and stream on Disney+ and Hulu, with live episodes also streaming on Disney+ once the show reaches its live performance rounds. Host and judge announcements are expected at a later date, though Season 24 featured Ryan Seacrest as host with judges Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie, and Carrie Underwood.
