Project Summary
Yokoso Scooby-Doo! marks the first anime series in the Scooby-Doo franchise's 57-year history, with Tubi securing exclusive North American streaming rights and Warner Bros. Animation producing alongside Japanese studio OLM. The series centers on Scooby-Doo and Shaggy traveling to Japan for what starts as a food tour but spirals into supernatural chaos when they unleash hundreds of mythical monsters. Voice acting veterans Frank Welker and Matthew Lillard reprise their roles as Scooby and Shaggy, with Itsuro Kawasaki directing and Francisco Paredes serving as co-producer. The production introduces new characters including Scooby's uncle Daisuke-Doo, magical girl Yume, and tech specialist Takumi. OLM is handling animation production services in Japan. The series is expected to premiere in 2027, with Cartoon Network carrying international distribution outside North America.
