Warner Bros. Pictures Animation (WBPA), formerly known as Warner Animation Group (WAG), is the theatrical feature animation arm of Warner Bros. Pictures, operating under Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group within Warner Bros. Discovery. Rebranded in June 2023 under President & Chief Creative Officer Bill Damaschke, the studio is a filmmaker-driven label producing animated features across 2D, CG, and photoreal techniques—spanning original stories and beloved IP-based properties with no single 'house look.' The studio has produced 10 feature films grossing a combined $2 billion at the box office, including The Lego Movie franchise, Smallfoot, and DC League of Super-Pets, and holds a first-look deal with Locksmith Animation. Its next theatrical release is The Cat in the Hat, opening worldwide November 6, 2026.
