Project Summary
Martha & Muhammad is an A24 comedy marking Ramy Youssef's feature directorial debut. Youssef wrote the script and stars opposite Sharon Stone in a story that follows a white widowed socialite in New York who forms a relationship with a young Muslim man. The project tackles themes of class, religion, immigration, and age. Youssef is producing through his Cairo Cowboy banner alongside Josh Safdie, Eli Bush, and Ronald Bronstein of Central, Christopher Storer and Tyson Bidner for American Light & Fixture, and A24. Production is set to begin filming in New York this fall, continuing Youssef's creative partnership with A24 following the acclaimed Hulu series Ramy and his comedy specials Feelings and More Feelings.
