Cartoon Network (CN) is an American cable television channel operated by the Global Linear Networks division of Warner Bros. Discovery, launched on October 1, 1992. It primarily broadcasts animated television series targeting children aged 6–12, while sharing its channel space nightly with Adult Swim, an adult-oriented programming block. The network's original programming is produced at Cartoon Network Studios (now consolidated under Warner Bros. Animation) and it is available in approximately 66 million U.S. pay-TV households and 166 international markets. CartoonNetwork.com was shut down on August 8, 2024, redirecting traffic to Max, as the company focuses on social media and streaming engagement.
