The Most Wonderful Secret

The Most Wonderful Secret is an Australian feature film currently in post-production in Queensland. Directed by Christine Luby, the holiday-themed project follows burnt-out art teacher Vanessa, who spends Christmas with her grieving brother and niece in the small, snowy town of Starwood. When a mysterious gift arrives from "Secret Norma", Vanessa teams up with her niece and neighbour Spencer to solve a series of holiday riddles, each uncovering the legacy of Spencer's late mother and drawing the pair closer as they work to revive the town's long-lost Christmas festival. The production recently brought on Sydney-based composer Chrysoulla Markoulli as the Australian Guild of Screen Composers' first Credit Maker recipient of 2026, a Screen Australia-supported placement program. Markoulli is working under the guidance of established composer Angela Little. The film is scheduled for release at the end of 2027.
