Screen Australia

Screen Australia is the Australian Federal Government's principal funding and development body for the Australian screen production industry, established on 1 July 2008 under the Screen Australia Act 2008. It supports the development, production, promotion, and distribution of Australian narrative and documentary screen content across feature films, television, online/direct-to-audience content, and games. Screen Australia also administers the Official Co-production Program and the Producer Offset on behalf of the Government, and provides market intelligence, direct funding, and targeted initiatives to ensure Australian content thrives domestically and internationally.
