Project Summary
Set in 1994 on the working-class side of Cape Cod, 14-year-old Maeve and her older sister Reg ache for a way into the glittering world of the summer rich, and a secret phone romance with a boy from the club finally makes that dream feel possible. When the voice on the line begins to reveal something monstrous, Maeve doesn't hang up, drawing her family deeper into the dark. Originally published in 'Dark Stars: New Tales of Darkest Horror,' the series is written and directed by Caroline Kepnes, creator of 'You.' Filming begins September 21, 2026, in Hyannis, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. The production operates under a SAG-AFTRA Low Budget Agreement (Pending).
