Summoner

Summoner marks the directorial debut of Jeremy Slater, the genre writer behind Mortal Kombat II and The Umbrella Academy. The Amazon MGM horror thriller stars Kevin Bacon as exorcist Jefferson Haddock, who faces a demonic threat that spirals dangerously out of control. Giorgia Whigham, known for her work on Peacock's Ted series, joins as a protection agent opposite Bacon. Producing through their Nocturna banner are Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti, the team behind It and It: Chapter Two, alongside Russell Ackerman. Dan Kagan, producer of Longlegs, executive produces. The film is scheduled to shoot in Ireland this fall, with Amazon MGM planning a theatrical release. Slater wrote the screenplay for what will be his first feature behind the camera.
