Project Summary
Strictly Come Dancing returns for its 24th series in autumn 2026, with new hosts Emma Willis, Johannes Radebe, and Josh Widdicombe taking over from outgoing presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. The show continues to be judged by Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke, and head judge Shirley Ballas. Production is based at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, with the launch show recording on September 9, 2026, and the pre-recorded episode airing on BBC One on September 19, 2026. Live weekly episodes follow through December 19, 2026. The series has announced thirteen celebrities so far, including Olympic skeleton gold medallist Tabitha Stoecker, footballer Shaun Wright-Phillips, dog behaviorist Graeme Hall, and actors from various UK television series. BBC Studios produces the show for BBC One, with the format continuing to follow the established Saturday night entertainment schedule that has made Strictly one of British television's most-watched annual programs.
