Project Summary
Prime Video is closing in on a series order for a live-action Spider-Man spinoff inspired by Marvel's Clone Saga, with Ben Reilly and Kaine Parker at the center. The project comes from Kelvin Yu, creator of Disney+'s American Born Chinese, who is writing the series. Sony Pictures Television is producing under its ongoing deal with Amazon MGM Studios to develop series based on characters from Sony's Universe of Marvel Characters. Executive producers Amy Pascal, Phil Lord, and Christopher Miller, who oversee the Spider-Man universe for Sony and produced Spider-Noir, are expected to produce alongside Yu. The series will debut on Amazon's MGM+ platform before streaming on Prime Video. While inspired by the Clone Saga comic storyline, sources indicate the show may make significant changes to the source material.
