Skin Games

Skin Games is currently in production in Vancouver and British Columbia as the debut feature from cinematographer Jon B. Elliot. The road trip drama follows two young Indigenous men who meet in a Vancouver jail—Jesse, a white-passing college student locked up after a drunken altercation, and Russell, a political activist and artist from New Mexico behind bars for painting a politically charged mural. The all-Indigenous cast includes Forrest Goodluck, Phillip Forest Lewitski, Carmen Moore, Joel D. Montgrand, William Belleau, Matthew Alan Taylor, and Jen Oleksiuk. Elliot directs from a script by Justin Neal, with producing by Jessie Anthony, Cole Vandale, and executive producers Patti Poskitt Neal, Mark Slone, Sardé Hardie, Goodluck, and Forest Lewitski. Vandal Productions, Pass Through Productions, and Oystercatcher Films are behind the project, with Photon Films set to release in Canada and international sales handled at TIFF: The Market.
