Project Summary
Sex Criminals is an eight-episode Prime Video series now in pre-production with leads Imogen Poots and John Reynolds attached. The adaptation of Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky's acclaimed Image Comics title is co-created by showrunners Emily V. Gordon, Kumail Nanjiani, and Tze Chun, with Nanjiani also set to appear in the series. Nia DaCosta will direct the first two episodes and executive produce. Production companies include LuckyChap, Winter Coat Films, and Amazon MGM Studios. The series was greenlit with an eight-episode order in January 2026, and with leads now cast and a director attached, the project is actively assembling its team ahead of production.
