Emily V. Gordon is an Oscar-nominated American screenwriter and producer best known for co-writing the 2017 romantic comedy The Big Sick with her husband Kumail Nanjiani, for which they received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay and won the Independent Spirit Award for Best First Screenplay. She co-created and executive produced the Apple TV+ anthology series Little America and executive produced the Hulu limited series Welcome to Chippendales. In 2024, she and Nanjiani co-founded Winter Coat Films, a production company with a first-look deal at Sony Pictures Television.
