Prisoner (Season 2)

Prisoner returns to production for its second season at Sky, with Scottish BAFTA winner Izuka Hoyle reprising her role as prison transport officer Amber Todd. The Sky Original action thriller comes from Academy Award and BAFTA-nominated writer Matt Charman, who serves as showrunner alongside writer Sophie Petzal. Binocular produces in association with Sky Studios, with executive producers Matt Charman, Foz Allan, Sophie Petzal, and Adrian Sturges. Season 1 filmed extensively in Wales including Cardiff, Swansea, Port Talbot, Cwmbran, and Newport, with production support from Creative Wales. Production on the new six-part season is targeting a late 2026 start, with the series set to air on Sky in the UK and Ireland.
