Sky Studios

Sky Studios is the production, development, and commissioning arm of Comcast-owned Sky, founded in June 2019 from the assets of the former Sky Vision. The company develops, produces and funds original drama, comedy, and documentary content across Europe (UK, Germany, Italy), with a growing portfolio of equity stakes in UK and US production companies including Love Productions (Great British Bake Off) and Jupiter Entertainment. Sky Studios also operates Sky Studios Elstree, a state-of-the-art 12-stage film and TV facility in Hertfordshire, which has hosted major productions including Wicked (2024) and Paddington in Peru (2024). The company is positioned as one of Europe's leading studios, targeting net-zero carbon status by 2030.
