About

Sky Studios is the production, development, and commissioning arm of Comcast-owned Sky Group, founded in June 2019 from the assets of the former Sky Vision. The company develops, produces, and funds original drama, comedy, and documentary content across Europe — primarily the UK, Germany, and Italy — and holds equity stakes in numerous UK and US production companies including Love Productions (The Great British Bake Off) and Jupiter Entertainment. Sky Studios also operates Sky Studios Elstree, a state-of-the-art 13-stage film and TV production facility in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, which has hosted major productions including Wicked (2024), Paddington in Peru (2024), Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy (2025), and Jurassic World Rebirth (2025). The company is positioned as one of Europe's leading studios and is targeting net-zero carbon status by 2030.
