Project Summary
Nano Runners is a 26-episode animated series currently in early pre-production from Boat Rocker Studios and Industrial Brothers. Created by Industrial Brothers co-founder Matthew Fernandes, the action-adventure show is aimed at children ages six and up and marks Boat Rocker's first fully financed animated project. The series follows teenage fugitives Kai and Jade, who flee their home planet after it is destroyed by machines, crash-land on Earth, and discover they're smaller than bugs. Craig Martin (Inspector Gadget) writes and story-edits, with executive producers including Boat Rocker co-founders Ivan Schneeberg and David Fortier, Jon Rutherford (President, Global Content & Rights), and Industrial Brothers' Matthew Fernandes and Tammy Semen. Based in Toronto, the production is being presented to buyers at MIPCOM ahead of a planned late 2027 release.
