Nak Muay

Nak Muay is a Muay Thai action drama entering pre-production in Thailand under the direction of BAFTA-winning filmmaker Tinge Krishnan, who also wrote and produces the feature. The project is executive produced by Michelle Yeoh and Colin Pons, co-CEO of Disruptive Element Films. Principal photography is scheduled for August through September 2026 in Thailand, with support from the Thai government. The film follows professional Muay Thai fighter Natthaphum Kaeowatthanameth (competing as Sua Black) in the lead role of Yod, an undefeated champion navigating fame and guilt. The production has secured backing from the U. K. Global Screen Fund as the first of a four-feature slate that Disruptive Element Films will produce in Thailand. The producing team includes BAFTA-winning Dominic Buchanan, with cinematography by Gavin Kelly and consultation from Sol Papadopoulos.
