Disruptive Element Films

Disruptive Element Films is a UK/Thailand-based independent production company and creative studio, incorporated in 1996 and founded by BAFTA-winning writer-director Tinge Krishnan. The company specializes in bold, character-driven genre stories spanning action/martial arts, sci-fi thriller, horror, and psychological drama. Most recently, the company secured UK Global Screen Fund backing for a four-feature slate to be produced in Thailand, launching with 'Nak Muay,' a Muay Thai action drama executive produced by Michelle Yeoh. The company's credits include the BAFTA-winning short Shadowscan (2001) and the feature film Junkhearts (2011), which won the Golden St. George at the Moscow International Film Festival.
