Project Summary
It's the early 1960s, and the two most famous men in Harlem are Malcolm X and Adam Clayton Powell, the two most visible power brokers. After veteran gangster Bumpy Johnson is released from Alcatraz after 11 years behind bars, he heads home to take up his old job as an invisible power broker north of 110th street.
