Project Summary
Getting Lost is an adult animated feature currently in production at Canadian studio Animaginary. Written and directed by Michael Mankowski, the R-rated comedy stars the voices of Kevin Smith, Dan Aykroyd, Russell Peters, and Kim Basinger. The film follows Wild Bill Harris, cameraman and nephew of a legendary wilderness TV host who dies during a catastrophic on-air incident, as he ventures into the wild to finish one final episode. Producers Mark A. Z. Dippé and John Schneider are overseeing the project alongside Mankowski, with Eric Garofano serving as executive producer. The 2D feature is being produced by Animaginary Inc. in Canada, with animation services by Drimgo Studio in Argentina. The production team is targeting completion by fall 2026 for a planned Sundance premiere. Gersh recently boarded to represent worldwide rights for the feature, as well as the companion TV series Getting Lost: Lost Tapes and a Bollywood-inspired spin-off titled Not That Indian.
