From Me to You

From Me to You recently wrapped principal photography in Whitehorse, Yukon, marking director Daniel Little's feature debut. Little co-wrote the script with playwright Peter Jickling, both Yukon residents. The romantic comedy centers on Paul, an aspiring writer with cerebral palsy played by Allan Dobrescu, who becomes smitten with his mail carrier Nora, played by Genevieve Doyon. To see her more often, Paul begins writing letters to himself. The cast also includes Tahmoh Penikett. Marty O'Brien produces, with Brendan Brady, David Brady, and Sonny Goldstein serving as executive producers. The project received Telefilm Canada Talent to Watch funding and additional support from Yukon Media Development, Canada Media Fund, and the Disability Screen Office. The production filmed entirely in Whitehorse, representing the Yukon's first homegrown scripted feature in over a decade.
