Project Summary
Flower & Flour returns for a second season of 39 episodes following its record-breaking debut on ABC Australia in 2026. The Australian-Canadian co-production from Cheeky Little Media and Sinking Ship Entertainment is currently in production, with animation work being handled by Sinking Ship's team. Created by Dan Mansour and directed by Cindy Scharka, the series follows seven-year-old Flower as she turns everyday moments above her parents' dumpling restaurant into imaginative play with her feline friend Flour. The Western Sydney-set show has proven ABC's most successful children's commission in 2026, averaging over one million viewers per episode across broadcast and streaming. Production partners include TVOKids, Knowledge Kids, and Radio-Canada, with funding from Screen Australia, the Canada Media Fund, Shaw Rocket Fund, Ontario Creates, and Screen NSW. The second season is expected to air in 2027.
