First Love

First Love is a smart and provocative series that explores growing up in 2017. The story follows Mercedes and Lou, as they struggle to navigate through adolescence, finding love and happiness in a world that offers little hope of change and growth. They figuratively live on the outskirts of town, in an environment of “blah,” a place dominated by strip malls, unattractive roads, dull school life and homes that offer little warmth or happiness. Brewing with sexuality, drive and a sense that if they just had the chance, they could find the purpose and inspiration to get the hell out of Dodge.
