Project Summary
Dutton Ranch is gearing up for its second season, with Kelly Reilly confirming at the Paramount UK Upfronts that filming will begin in early 2027. The Yellowstone spinoff became Paramount+ history's biggest original series launch with 12. 9 million global viewers in its first week. The drama follows Reilly's Beth Dutton and Cole Hauser's Rip Wheeler as they establish a new ranching operation in South Texas alongside their ward Carter. Season 1 was created by Chad Feehan with executive producers including Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, John Linson, and Christina Alexandra Voros. For Season 2, Benjamin Cavell has joined as the new showrunner, bringing his experience from SEAL Team and Justified. The first season filmed across North Texas locations including Ferris, Weatherford, Fort Worth, and surrounding areas from August 2025 through March 2026, with production companies 101 Studios and Paramount Television Studios. Season 2 is expected to follow a similar production footprint as the team prepares to crew up for the early 2027 shoot.
