About

Paramount Television Studios (PTVS) is the premium scripted television production arm of Paramount Pictures, relaunched on August 8, 2025 following the Skydance–Paramount Global merger. The studio consolidated Skydance Television, Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios, and Nickelodeon/Awesomeness live-action units under one roof, with a streaming-focused mandate to develop and produce content for Paramount+, Prime Video, Apple TV+, Netflix, CBS, and other platforms. Its slate encompasses Taylor Sheridan's expansive Taylorverse franchise (Landman, Tulsa King, Lioness, Mayor of Kingstown, Dutton Ranch, The Madison, Marshals), prestige Showtime dramas (The Agency, Dexter: Resurrection), and action franchises (Reacher, Cross, Foundation). The studio operates under President Matt Thunell and Paramount Television Chair Dana Goldberg as part of Paramount Skydance Corporation (Nasdaq: PSKY), which itself merged with Warner Bros. Discovery in October 2026 to form Skydance.
