Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

Tennessee Williams' 1955 Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, holds monumental importance for the LGBTQ+ community as one of the earliest mainstream American plays to center its narrative on repressed homosexuality, internalized homophobia, and the destructive nature of the closet. The production is presented by The Bent Theatre, a multi-award-winning non-profit theater serving the Palm Springs and Coachella Valley LGBTQ+ community since December 2022. Performances run October 9–11 & 16–18, 2026, Friday–Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 2pm, with a final weekend October 22–24, 2026, Thursday–Saturday at 7pm, at the Palm Springs Cultural Center.
